How to set your delivery zone

  1. Center on the store. Search the address or use your current location.
  2. Draw the zone. Start from the radius your kitchen or courier can realistically serve at peak — not the quiet Tuesday version.
  3. Check the fringe. Zoom to the edge of the ring and decide: is that apartment complex really a 30-minute round trip at 7 pm on a Friday?
  4. Publish it everywhere the same. Same link on the menu, the app and the confirmation email — one zone, no arguments.

Choosing the right delivery radius

Delivery zones fail at the edges: the last mile takes as long as the first three. Practical anchors — food delivery rarely stretches past 15–20 minutes of drive time each way; local retail usually serves 3–5 miles well; and every minute of promised radius multiplies courier cost. Draw the honest ring first, then decide whether an outlier order is a premium delivery or a polite no.

The ring shows geography, not drive time — a customer across the highway may be 5 minutes away while one two miles straight ahead takes 15 at rush hour. Keep the zone slightly conservative and surprise people by being faster.

Frequently asked questions

What is a delivery radius?

The straight-line distance your business will deliver to, measured from the store. Most local delivery operations run 1–5 miles; regional services stretch much further.

How do I show my delivery zone on my website?

Draw the zone here, press Embed to copy a snippet, and paste it into your site — or screenshot the PNG for menus and flyers. The share link lets customers check their own address.

Does the ring account for traffic?

No — it is a straight-line zone. Treat it as the geography; add your own buffer for peak-hour traffic.

Can I draw zones for multiple stores?

Yes — add up to 12 circles per map, one per branch, and share the whole set as a single link.

Is this delivery radius map free?

Yes — free with no signup, no watermark on exports. The site is funded by advertising.
